Since its establishment in September 2009 to become a global sensor specialist comprehensive brand, SJG ASENTEC has grown yearly through continuous technical investments and product developments.

SJG ASENTEC is contributing to improving the international competitiveness of the automobile industry of the Republic of Korea through the development of technologically advanced products such as achieving the first localization of wheel speed sensors for automobiles, the world’s first development and mass production of a hydrogen detection sensor for a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, and the localization and development of Shift by Wire (SBW) which is a part needed for autonomous driving. Beyond the Hyundai Motor Group in Korea, SJG ASENTEC, is growing into a global brand by concluding a supply contract with Stellantis, which owns brands such as Peugeot, Citroën, FIAT, Chrysler, and Maserati, in December 2021.
